Climbing to the hut from Timmelsjochstraße

Your starting point is the car park at Timmelsbrücke on the Timmelsjochstraße. From there you hike along trail no. 30 to the Timmelsalm (2000m elevation), continuing to the Großer Schwarzsee lake right up to Schwarzwandscharte (3095m elevation). Then you continue over the Übeltalferner (glacier area) up to Müllerhütte (3145m elevation) and onwards to the Becherhaus (3195m elevation). Glacier equipment (ropes, crampons) is essential.
